Instructor connection

Two calendar paths

One page. Two different handoffs.

Instructor sync and client add-to-calendar solve different jobs. Mojo keeps the boundary visible.

Instructor sync
A connected instructor's eligible events create or update in Google Calendar after Mojo saves them.
Client add-to-calendar
A confirmed booking page opens a prefilled Google Calendar event for the client to add.
.ics attachment
Supported status-change and reminder emails include a standards-based calendar file.

Instructor workflow

Save the session in Mojo. Send the supported lifecycle to Google.

The instructor first connects a Google account. Mojo then creates or updates the matching Google event when an eligible assigned event is saved.

  1. 01

    Connect

The instructor connects a Google account from their own Mojo profile.

  2. 02

    Create or update

A new assigned event creates a Google event; later eligible saves update that same event.

  3. 03

    Carry cancellation state

Cancelled private or group sessions, and completed group sessions, are marked cancelled in the synced event.

Client handoff

A confirmed client adds a calendar copy in one tap.

This is a client action, separate from the instructor's connected-account sync.

  1. 1

    The booking is confirmed

The confirmation page shows the session title, date, time, location, and instructor.

  2. 2

    Mojo prepares the event

The Google Calendar link carries the session time, studio name, and location when one is present.

  3. 3

    The client chooses their calendar

They tap Add to Google Calendar on the page or open the .ics attachment in a supported booking email.

  4. 4

    Their calendar receives a copy

The client controls that calendar item. It is not a continuously synchronized subscription.

Shown for a confirmed public booking. Client add-to-calendar does not activate instructor synchronization.

From a studio manager

The useful detail is right where the booking finishes.

"The add-to-calendar button right on the booking page makes it so simple for clients and my staff. Mojo just thinks of the details so I don't have to."

Google Calendar integration questions

What does Mojo's Google Calendar integration do? +
Mojo supports two separate calendar paths. An instructor can connect a Google account so eligible assigned events create or update there after they are saved in Mojo. A confirmed client can separately add their booking from the confirmation page or use the .ics attachment included with supported booking emails.
Which events can sync to an instructor's Google Calendar? +
Group sessions, private sessions, and booking slots assigned to an instructor can use the connected-account sync. A new event creates a Google event, and later eligible saves update it. Supported cancellation and completion states are sent as cancelled.
Do client calendar items stay continuously synchronized? +
No. The confirmation link and .ics attachment give the client a calendar copy they choose to add. That copy is separate from the instructor's connected-account sync and is not a live calendar subscription.
Which emails include an .ics attachment? +
Supported booking status-change emails and automated reminder emails include an event.ics attachment with the session title, time, studio, location when present, and organizer address.
What happens if an event is deleted in Mojo? +
Automatic removal of an already-synced Google event is not currently guaranteed. Mojo creates and updates eligible saved events, and it marks supported cancellation or completion states as cancelled.
Does the integration prevent scheduling conflicts? +
No. Google Calendar integration does not automatically detect conflicts or make double bookings impossible. Use the Mojo schedule to review availability and assigned events before saving a change.

Try it with one instructor

Connect the calendar without blurring who controls each copy.

Set up the studio schedule, connect an instructor, and test the client confirmation path with a real class.
